From an early age, Damani harbored a deep-seated desire to assist others, a passion that propelled him towards pursuing a degree in Social Work. His vision coalesced around establishing a non-profit organization aimed at aiding at-risk youth, a journey that unfolded through various roles such as a Child Protective Services Investigator and Boys and Girls Club Pre College Advisor. These experiences illuminated his belief in the latent potential within every individual to enrich their familial and communal spheres.

The sudden loss of his mother in 2008 and the subsequent reconnection with his father in 2019 served as profound catalysts, unveiling the significance of family bonds and the transformative power of therapy. These personal revelations guided him towards his true calling.

In May 2023, he proudly graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy, marking the culmination of his academic journey. Today, as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFT-A), his mission revolves around providing steadfast support and guidance to individuals, couples, families, and children, one step at a time, as they navigate the complexities of life.
